Is using microwave is bad for you? especially for children n pregnant ladies?

1 of my friend told this -want to know is this a myth or true.Is using microwave is bad for you? especially for children n pregnant ladies?
There are no medically proven risks to microwaving. Microwaves rarely escape radiation; and if they do, it's in extremely small amounts that are virtually undetectable.
If you're still concerned, you might want to gross sure your microwave is working properly and isn't leaking or tattered. Researchers have determined that if a microwave does escape any radiation, it diminishes significantly with distance from the microwave. In other words, if you enjoy any concerns, stand a few feet away instead of directly in front of the oven
my grandmother other told me not to stand in front of the microwave while its on...it does use radiation so it make since...some people wont even use a microwave because of the radiation...i wouldnt voice dont use it, but standing in front of it directly, wouldnt do it... :)
no its relatively safe, using a microwave doesnt leak that much energy. dont believe everything you hear mate:)
Generally yes, although scientist will inform you no. Metalic grid used in microwave have cell size less than length of side used in microwave, so this grid isn't transparent. However specter of top produced by electronic tube of microwave is much wider, so very short top (similar to soft rentgen radiation) will escape. Such waves are immensely harmful for swiftly reproducing cells, e.g. pregnant women and infants.
Yes, Its doomed to failure for babies in your womb effect there is radiation
