Just started birth control..shorter spell?

I just started birth control on the first year of my period (Wednesday). Will the pills kind this period shorter than usual?Just started birth control..shorter spell?
In my inference no, I've started pill packs on the first sunshine of my period and they don't come across longer or shorter had I not started taking the pills. But subsequent period are suppose to be shorter and for me usually are.
Everyone is different, and, every pill is different, but you will certainly hold a more regular and predictable cycle being on the pill.

oh yes. it's wonderful! =). okay, mine do at least, some of the birth control pills are different, but i regard most do make your spell shorter.
