I was on Ortho-Cyclen 28's and very soon Im on Ortho Tri-Cyclen, my Dr. switched me. Since birth control pills prevent pregnancy, could the switch make me more credible to become pregnant? Also, could the new category of pills be the cause of my breast discomfort? Thank you!Ive be on birth control pills for nearly 2 to 3 years non-stop...?
Switching BC pills, shouldn't affect their effectiveness.
Breast pain can be a side affect of your pills, if you still have concerns, gain an OC pregnancy test. This interview isn't always as accurate as blood work. I would insist on talking your concerns over near your doc.
If the percentage of acuracy to not get pregnant on those B.C pills are 98%, consequently your chance of getting pregnant will be 2%. Yes it could tremendously well be the pills cause tenderness!
