Just started Yasmin, be on something else prior, presently ACNE?

Has this happened to anyone else? My gyno purely switched my birth control. Now I'm breaking out after a week of taking the new pill. Is that conventional?Just started Yasmin, be on something else prior, presently ACNE?
It is not uncommon to break out when starting or varying hormonal birth control. If you have any acne underneath the skin, your pill will be trying to purge it out of you. Birth control tends to get acne better, and the hormone in Yasmin should enjoy an anti-acne effect. So, it's not that your pill is giving you acne, but rather that it is trying to brand it going away. but, it may get worse up to that time it gets better.
Yes. When your body have hormone changes, fluent or not, acne can flare up. I went past its sell-by date the pill for 3 months and I got HORRIFIC acne. Your body wishes some time to adjust to the hormonal changes going on. I am so sorry you hold this problem! I went on Yasmin and own never had such clear skin contained by my life.
Tell your gyno just about this. I used Yasmin for 8mo. but I haven't experienced acne. Maybe it depends on your hormones. I also used Gracial and my gyno told me its anti-acne.
