Is this breakthrough bleeding or an hasty spell?

Been on birth control pill for 1.5 years with regular on-time period. Didn't have sex for over a year, after had (kinda rough) sex the other time, and also climbed a mountain (overexerted myself). Now I am bleeding bright red. Is this breakthrough bleeding or did the activities somehow motive me to start my period rash?Is this breakthrough bleeding or an hasty spell?
It could be both! When go for awhile short sex and your an the pill you can start to bleed early! It's happen to me! Take it easy when you seize back on the horse! Enjoy!
Possibly the rough sex have torn you slightly inside the vagina and the exertion has open it up...maybe take a physical to check it out.
Well, you have answered your own request for information...Try to be more carefull. If you haven't had sex your body isn't used to it. Good for you for birth control. Take some ibuforen, it will stem the flow. Rest up, and moral luck.
Truthfully, that cannot be answered until a doc looks at it. Period. (no pun intended)
